The complete diffuser contains 100ml of Blissful Winter Reed Diffuser Blend, presented in a glass reed diffuser bottle with wooden cap and supplied with 8 natural black reeds.

The reeds gradually draw the diffuser liquid upwards and release the essential oil aroma into the surrounding room, with no heat, water or electricity required.

Because Blissful Winter contains several naturally powerful spice oils, I recommend beginning with 2 reeds. Give the aroma time to settle before adding another. Depending on your room and personal preference, you may eventually prefer 4 to 6 reeds.

More reeds will create a stronger aroma throw, but will also use the diffuser liquid more quickly.

The 100ml Blissful Winter Reed Diffuser Refill allows you to refill it and continue enjoying the same warm blend without buying another complete diffuser.

Each refill contains my professionally formulated blend of Orange Sweet, Cinnamon Leaf, Ginger, Nutmeg and Clove essential oils in a natural reed diffuser base and comes with 8 fresh natural black reeds.

Make sure your existing diffuser bottle is clean and completely dry before refilling it, then replace your old reeds with the fresh ones supplied.

How Many Reeds Should I Use?

Blissful Winter is a richer blend than some of my lighter citrus based diffusers, so a little goes a long way.

Although I supply 8 natural black reeds, I recommend starting with just 2.

Allow the reeds time to absorb the liquid and let the aroma settle into your room. You can then add another reed if you would like it to be more noticeable.

The number you eventually use will depend on the size and temperature of the room, natural airflow and your own preference.

Using more reeds gives a greater aroma throw, but it also increases evaporation and means the diffuser will run down more quickly.

Refreshing Your Reed Diffuser

You can turn the reeds occasionally when you would like to refresh the aroma, but there is no need to do this every few days.

Frequent turning increases evaporation and can shorten the life of your diffuser.

When you open a new refill, use the fresh reeds supplied rather than continuing with reeds that have already been saturated for several weeks.

Where to Place Your Blissful Winter Diffuser

A little natural movement of air helps distribute the aroma gently around the room.

Blissful Winter works particularly well in living rooms, hallways, dining areas and other spaces where you would like its warm seasonal character to be noticed.

Avoid placing your diffuser:

• in direct sunlight
• beside a radiator or other heat source
• in a strong draught
• directly beside an open window
• somewhere it may easily be knocked over

Heat and excessive airflow make the diffuser liquid evaporate more quickly.

How Long Will My Reed Diffuser Last?

There is no exact number of weeks that applies to every home.

Room temperature, airflow, diffuser placement and the number of reeds you use all affect how quickly the liquid is used.

Beginning with 2 reeds allows you to judge the strength of Blissful Winter in your particular room before adding more and will generally help your diffuser last longer.

I formulate Blissful Winter as an aromatherapy blend first.

Its warm seasonal aroma comes from the natural character of Orange Sweet, Cinnamon Leaf, Ginger, Nutmeg and Clove essential oils, without adding synthetic perfume simply to make the aroma stronger.

Each oil has its own character, but it is the balance between the bright citrus opening and those warm spice oils that makes Blissful Winter what it is.
