There is something rather lovely about making a product for yourself instead of simply opening a finished bottle.

This aromatherapy oil kit brings together one of my full size 10ml pure essential oil blends with 30ml of Vitamin E Carrier Oil, giving you what you need to create your own aromatic face or body oil at home.

You choose the blend, add the appropriate amount to the carrier oil and create something that can become part of your own everyday routine.

And because only a few drops of the essential oil blend are needed, you still have plenty of your 10ml bottle left to enjoy afterwards.

Choose Your Aromatherapy Blend

You can choose from:

Be Happy, Calming, Distinguished, Meditate, Nighttime Tranquillity, Tranquillity, Wild Meadow or Zen.

Rather than choosing only by aroma, I like to think about how I am feeling and how I would like to feel. That will often point me towards the blend that suits the moment.

Each kit contains the full 10ml bottle of your chosen Mai Joie Botanicals pure essential oil blend.

Your Vitamin E Carrier Oil

Also inside your aromatherapy oil kit is 30ml of Vitamin E Carrier Oil, already measured into a black glass dropper bottle with a gold collar.

The bottle is ready for you to add your chosen essential oil blend, so there is no weighing or measuring of carrier oil required.

Once mixed, the dropper makes it easy to dispense a small amount of your finished oil at a time.

How to Use Your Aromatherapy Oil Kit

Your Vitamin E Carrier Oil arrives ready measured in the 30ml bottle.

To Make a Facial Oil

Add 6 drops of your chosen pure essential oil blend to the 30ml Vitamin E Carrier Oil.

Only use a blend for facial application where that particular blend is suitable for use on the face.

To Make a Body Oil

Add up to 9 drops of your chosen pure essential oil blend to the 30ml Vitamin E Carrier Oil.

Once you have added your essential oil blend, replace the dropper securely and shake gently to combine.

Shake gently again before each use.

More Than a One Use Kit

One of the things I like most about this set is that you receive a full size 10ml essential oil blend.

You only use a small amount to make your 30ml aromatic oil, so the rest of the blend remains yours to use afterwards according to its normal directions.

That makes this more than a one off making kit. It is also a lovely way to discover another use for a Mai Joie blend you already enjoy, or to try one for the first time.

A Gift With Something to Make

This is a little different from giving somebody a ready made body product.

There is something to choose, something to make and then something to enjoy.

The unfinished wooden box can also be reused afterwards for essential oils, roller balls or other little things you want to keep together.

It makes a lovely gift for somebody who enjoys aromatherapy and natural products, or for anyone who simply likes the pleasure of making something for themselves.

Before First Use

Apply a small amount of your finished oil to the inside of your forearm and leave for 24 hours to check for sensitivity.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes and do not apply to broken or irritated skin.

Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Pure essential oils should not be applied directly to the skin undiluted.
