Uplifting Essential Oil Blend brings together Lemongrass, Grapefruit and Lavender for a fresh, bright aroma with a gentle herbal softness.
Lemongrass gives the blend its lively character, Grapefruit adds a lighter citrus freshness and Lavender softens the brighter oils, helping the finished aroma feel balanced rather than sharp.
I enjoy using Uplifting while working, getting on with jobs around the home or whenever the space around me feels a little flat and I want something fresher around me.
A 10ml pure aromatherapy blend, hand formulated by me in Lancashire using 100% pure essential oils.
Add a few drops to your diffuser or oil burner and allow the aroma to gently fill your space.

Uplifting is an uplifting essential oil blend of Lemongrass, Grapefruit and Lavender, formulated to give your space a bright, fresh character without becoming harsh or overly citrusy.
The balance of this blend is important to me.
Lemongrass naturally has a strong, clean and lively aroma, so it gives Uplifting much of its freshness. Used alone, however, it can easily dominate a blend.
Grapefruit brings another kind of brightness. It is lighter and softer than Lemongrass and adds freshness without making the finished aroma feel too sharp.
Lavender is what changes the character of Uplifting for me. Rather than turning it into a calming blend, it smooths the brighter oils and gives the formulation a softer edge. That gentle floral and herbal character helps everything feel much more rounded in the room.
Together, the three oils create something fresh, lively and cheerful, but still balanced enough to enjoy for longer periods.
I like Uplifting first thing in the morning, during the working day or whenever a room feels a little dull and I want to change the atmosphere around me. It is also a lovely choice when you want freshness without reaching for something particularly sharp or intensely citrusy.
As the oils diffuse, Lemongrass and Grapefruit are usually what you notice first, while the Lavender sits more quietly underneath and softens the overall aroma.

Bright, Fresh and Full of Life

Lavender brings just enough softness to prevent the brighter oils from becoming too sharp.
For me, the finished aroma feels fresh, cheerful and lively without becoming overpowering.
It is the blend I tend to reach for when I want the room around me to feel brighter or when the atmosphere simply needs a little lift.
Add 3 to 5 drops of Uplifting Essential Oil Blend to the water in your aroma diffuser, following the instructions supplied with your particular model.
In a smaller room, begin with fewer drops and increase gradually if you prefer a stronger aroma.
For an oil burner, fill the bowl with water first, then add a few drops of Uplifting. Check the water level regularly and never leave a lit burner unattended.
Uplifting can also be used with aroma jewellery and other products specifically designed for use with pure essential oils.
