Distinguished Aromatherapy Room Spray is my warm, grounded blend of Patchouli, Grapefruit and Ylang Ylang, formulated for those moments when you want the room around you to feel comfortable, composed and quietly confident.
Patchouli gives the blend its earthy depth, Grapefruit brings a brighter freshness and Ylang Ylang softens everything with a gentle floral warmth. Together they create an aroma with character without becoming heavy or overpowering.

Distinguished Aromatherapy Room Spray was formulated for those who prefer an aroma with a little more depth and character.
I combine three very different essential oils in this blend: Patchouli, Grapefruit and Ylang Ylang. On their own they each have a strong personality, but together they create something much more balanced.
Patchouli brings the deep, earthy warmth that sits at the heart of Distinguished. Grapefruit introduces a fresh citrus brightness that keeps the blend from becoming too heavy, while Ylang Ylang adds a softer floral warmth and helps bring the other two oils together.
The first impression is often the brighter Grapefruit, followed by the deeper Patchouli and softer Ylang Ylang as the aroma begins to settle into the room.
It has warmth and presence without dominating the space, which is exactly what I wanted when I formulated it.
Where I Use Distinguished
Distinguished is one I naturally reach for in living rooms, studies and workspaces.
It works particularly well when I want the room to feel comfortable and settled but not sleepy. There is enough freshness in the Grapefruit to keep the atmosphere feeling clear, while the Patchouli brings a more grounded character and the Ylang Ylang adds warmth.
I also like it in rooms where people gather. It creates an atmosphere that feels welcoming and assured without being overly floral, sweet or heavy.
It is not tied to one particular time of day either. Distinguished can work just as comfortably during a working afternoon as it can later when you want the room to feel warmer and more relaxed.
As with all of my room sprays, I am not simply trying to make a room smell pleasant. I formulate around how I want the room to feel, and Distinguished is about warmth, balance and that lovely sense of quiet confidence.
