Tranquility Essential Oil Blend was formulated for the moments when you want to step away from the noise of the day and surround yourself with an atmosphere that feels peaceful and restful.
Sometimes the day leaves very little room to breathe. Your thoughts may still be busy, everything around you may feel demanding or you may simply want the room to feel softer and easier to be in.
That is why I created Tranquility.
It has a gentle floral aroma with warmth, softness and a quiet earthy depth. The blend settles gradually into the room rather than overpowering it, creating an atmosphere that feels peaceful, balanced and comforting.
I enjoy using Tranquility when I am reading, resting or taking a little time for myself. It is also lovely during the evening when I want the atmosphere around me to feel more restful, although it certainly is not limited to bedtime.
I formulated Tranquility with Lavender, Geranium, Roman Chamomile, Clary Sage and Ylang Ylang essential oils. Each one has been chosen for the part it plays within the complete formulation.
Lavender brings a familiar softness and gentle reassurance.
Geranium gives the blend its beautifully rounded floral heart and helps hold the formulation in balance.
Roman Chamomile adds a particularly gentle, comforting character that softens the aroma further.
Clary Sage brings an earthy depth beneath the florals, preventing the blend from becoming overly sweet.
Ylang Ylang adds warmth and richness, completing the formulation without dominating it.
Together, the five essential oils create an aroma that feels peaceful, settled and quietly comforting.
When I formulate an essential oil blend, I begin with how someone may want to feel and the atmosphere they would like to create. I then choose each oil for the particular role it will play within the finished formulation.
Tranquility was created for moments of peace, restfulness and gentle reflection. It does not promise to make every worry disappear. It simply offers a natural way to make your surroundings feel softer and give yourself a little room to breathe.

Tranquility essential oil blend is also available in my Pure Botanical Bath Salts for those moments when you want to enjoy the same peaceful aroma in a warm bath.
The salts combine Himalayan salt, Epsom salt and Dead Sea salt with the same blend of Lavender, Geranium, Roman Chamomile, Clary Sage and Ylang Ylang.
Add the salts to warm running water and allow them to dissolve. There is no need to add the essential oil blend separately, as the salts are already infused with the correct amount.
Tranquility Essential Oil Blend has a soft floral aroma with gentle warmth and a quiet earthy depth.
The floral notes feel rounded and comforting rather than overly sweet. The deeper character beneath them gives the blend balance and helps the aroma sit beautifully within the room.

Add three to five drops of Tranquility Essential Oil Blend to your electric diffuser, following the instructions for your particular model.
In a smaller room, begin with two or three drops and add more only when needed.
For an oil burner, fill the bowl with water before adding a few drops of Tranquility. Check the water level regularly and never leave a lit burner unattended.
For aromatic use only. Do not apply undiluted essential oils directly to the skin or take them internally.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and keep out of reach of children and pets.
