Uplifting Aromatherapy Reed Diffuser brings the fresh character of my Uplifting essential oil blend into your home in a way that works quietly throughout the day.

I formulate Uplifting with Lemongrass, Grapefruit and Lavender. Lemongrass gives the blend its crisp, vibrant opening, Grapefruit adds bright citrus freshness and Lavender softens and rounds the finished aroma.

The result is fresh and lively without becoming sharp or overpowering.

I particularly like Uplifting in living spaces, hallways and work areas, or simply on those days when I want the atmosphere around me to feel a little brighter.

The complete diffuser contains 100ml of Uplifting Reed Diffuser Blend, presented in a glass reed diffuser bottle with wooden cap and supplied with 8 natural black reeds.

The reeds gradually draw the diffuser liquid upwards before releasing the essential oil aroma into the surrounding air, so there is no need for heat, water or electricity.

Start with 3 or 4 reeds and allow the aroma time to settle into your room. If you would like a stronger aroma throw, simply add another reed.

The 100ml Uplifting Reed Diffuser Refill makes it easy to continue enjoying the same Lemongrass, Grapefruit and Lavender aroma without purchasing another complete diffuser.

Each refill is made with the same professionally formulated Uplifting essential oil blend and natural reed diffuser base as the original and comes with 8 fresh natural black reeds.

Simply make sure your existing diffuser bottle is clean and completely dry before refilling it, then replace the old reeds with the fresh ones supplied.

How Many Reeds Should I Use?

Although I include 8 natural black reeds, you do not need to use them all at once.

I recommend beginning with 3 or 4 reeds. Give them time to absorb the diffuser liquid and allow the aroma to settle into your room before deciding whether you would like to add another.

More reeds will create a stronger aroma throw, but they will also cause the diffuser liquid to be used more quickly.

This allows you to adjust your diffuser to suit the size of your room and how noticeable you prefer the aroma to be.

Refreshing Your Reed Diffuser

You can turn the reeds occasionally when you would like to refresh the aroma, but there is no need to turn them frequently.

Regular flipping increases evaporation and will make your diffuser liquid run down more quickly.

When using a new refill, I recommend replacing your existing reeds with the fresh reeds supplied. Reeds that have been saturated for several weeks become less effective at drawing up and releasing the diffuser liquid.

Where to Place Your Uplifting Reed Diffuser

Uplifting works particularly well in a space with a little natural movement of air to help carry the aroma gently around the room.

A hallway, living room, home office or somewhere people naturally pass through can all work beautifully.

Avoid placing your diffuser:

• in direct sunlight
• beside a radiator or other heat source
• in a strong draught
• directly beside an open window
• somewhere it could easily be knocked over

Heat and excessive airflow increase evaporation and can make the diffuser liquid disappear much more quickly.

How Long Will My Reed Diffuser Last?

How long a reed diffuser lasts varies from home to home.

Room temperature, airflow, placement and the number of reeds you use will all affect how quickly the liquid evaporates.

Starting with 3 or 4 reeds gives you a gentler aroma and will generally help the diffuser last longer. You can then add another reed if you decide you would like a stronger aroma in the room.
