Enliven Essential Oil Blend – Pure Aromatherapy
£14.00
Enliven essential oil blend, is my fresh, minty blend of Rosemary, Peppermint and Geranium, formulated for the days when you feel a little flat, your thoughts are wandering or the room around you needs freshening.
Rosemary and Peppermint give Enliven its clear, lively character, while Geranium softens the sharper notes and brings balance to the blend. Without it, the aroma would be far too sharp.
I use Enliven when I am working, getting ready for the day or trying to find a little more energy during the afternoon. It is fresh without being overpowering and a lovely choice when you want something more lively than restful.
As with all my blends, each oil has been chosen for the part it plays within the complete formulation, not simply because the aromas smell lovely together.
Add a few drops to your diffuser and allow the fresh, green aroma to bring a little more life into the moment.
There are days when I want the room around me to feel fresh, lively and a little more awake. That is when I reach for Enliven.
I formulated Enliven Pure Essential Oil Blend using Rosemary, Peppermint and Geranium. It is minty, fresh and green, with a crisp aroma that brings a little more life into your space without becoming too strong or overpowering.
Enliven is one of those blends that can be used at many different times during the day. You might enjoy it while getting ready in the morning, when sitting down to work or when your thoughts begin to wander during the afternoon. It is also lovely when a room feels warm, stuffy or simply in need of some freshness.
I did not want Enliven to be an overpowering blend of Rosemary and Peppermint. Both oils have a naturally strong character and, without something to soften them, the aroma could easily become too sharp.
This is where Geranium becomes so important.
Geranium brings a softer, greener floral note that rounds the blend and holds the other two oils together. It does not make Enliven smell overly floral. Instead, it gives the formulation balance and prevents the Peppermint and Rosemary from competing with one another.
Rosemary gives Enliven its fresh, herbal character. It is an essential oil often chosen within aromatherapy when concentration and mental alertness are needed, which makes it a natural choice for a blend intended for working, studying or getting on with the jobs that need doing.
Peppermint brings the cool, clean freshness that you notice when you first use Enliven. It is bright and lively, and may help you feel more awake when energy or enthusiasm is beginning to disappear.
Together with Geranium, the three oils create an energising essential oil blend that feels fresh and clear, but still balanced.
When I formulate a blend, I do not begin by choosing oils that simply smell pleasant together. I start by thinking about how someone may want to feel and the type of atmosphere they are trying to create around them.
Each oil is then selected for its individual properties and for the part it will play within the finished blend. Sometimes an oil takes the lead, while another works quietly in the background, bringing balance or softening the stronger notes.
That is exactly what happens within Enliven.
The Rosemary and Peppermint bring the freshness, while the Geranium makes the blend feel complete.
Enliven is a good choice for those moments when you:
Feel a little flat or lacking in enthusiasm
Need to concentrate on work or study
Want a fresher atmosphere around you
Have reached the afternoon dip
Are tackling jobs you have been putting off
Prefer a minty, green aroma rather than something floral or restful
Although I often use Enliven during the day, it is not simply a morning blend. I use it whenever I want the atmosphere around me to feel fresher and I need a gentle nudge to get going again.
Add a few drops to your electric diffuser, following the instructions for your particular diffuser, and allow the aroma to move gently through your room.
Enliven Pure Essential Oil Blend is hand formulated by me in Lancashire using pure Rosemary, Peppermint and Geranium essential oils.
Minty. Fresh. Green.
