Enliven Essential Oil Blend – Pure Aromatherapy

Enliven Essential Oil Blend brings together Rosemary, Peppermint and Geranium in a fresh, herbaceous formulation created for those times when you want your surroundings to feel brighter, clearer and more energised.

This is quite a different blend from something such as Calming or Tranquility. With Enliven, I wanted freshness and movement, but I still wanted the oils to work together as a balanced aromatherapy formulation rather than simply creating something intensely minty or medicinal.

There are days when I want the room around me to feel fresh, lively and a little more awake. That is when I reach for Enliven.

I formulated Enliven Pure Essential Oil Blend using Rosemary, Peppermint and Geranium. It is minty, fresh and green, with a crisp aroma that brings a little more life into your space without becoming too strong or overpowering.

Rosemary gives Enliven much of its character. Its fresh, herbal aroma has a naturally invigorating quality and provides a strong, clear backbone for the formulation. It is an oil I associate with times when concentration and mental alertness are needed, which makes it particularly well suited to this blend.

Peppermint brings the immediate burst of freshness. It is powerful, so the amount used matters. Too much and it would completely take over; properly balanced, it gives Enliven that crisp, enlivening lift without making the finished aroma feel overwhelmingly minty.

Then comes Geranium, which may seem like an unexpected partner for Rosemary and Peppermint. It is precisely what helps the blend work for me. Its softer floral character takes some of the sharpness from the two fresher oils and gives the formulation a smoother, more rounded finish.

As Enliven diffuses, you notice the fresh herbal and minty notes first, followed by that softer Geranium character underneath. The result feels lively and refreshing, but still comfortable enough to have around you while you work or get on with your day.

I reach for Enliven when the day feels sluggish, or when I simply want to change a flat atmosphere into one that feels fresher and more awake.

Add 3 to 5 drops to the water in your Aroma diffuser and allow the blend to disperse naturally through your space.

A very useful blend for working days, busy mornings and those moments when you need a little more get up and go.

How to Use

Fill your Aroma diffuser with the recommended amount of water and add 3 to 5 drops of Enliven Essential Oil Blend.

Begin with fewer drops in a smaller room, particularly because Peppermint and Rosemary both have strong aromatic characters.

Increase gradually if you prefer a stronger aroma.

Enliven is particularly suited to workspaces, home offices, kitchens and living areas, or whenever you want your surroundings to feel fresh, bright and energised.
